In the spring of 2024, all county councils in Norway introduced the HMSREG system; a common tool for monitoring seriousness, HSE and environmental impact in their building and construction projects.
The system can be used by both the client and contractors (EN). Contractors/subcontractors (UE) are invited to use the system and can in turn invite their contract partners to use the solution.
HSEREG gives the client and main contractor:
- effective interaction with all suppliers for compliance with laws, regulations and seriousness provisions.
- control over all suppliers and crews
- overview of emissions and waste.
In HSEREG, all county councils have modules for seriousness, reporting of undesirable incidents (RUH), reporting of external environment and risk management tools.
Information is used from public and private partners through integrations, as well as from companies that offer access control systems. Examples of integrations in the system today are the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority, Project Fareblind, startBANK and Brønnøysundregistrene. HMSREG has integrations that retrieve access data from a number of access control systems. An overview of partners and integrations can be found here.
How to get started?
Contact the client to clarify how the system will be used in the project.
General user support (user guide) is available even before you log in, which you can find here.
In the user support you will find all the help you need to use the system. The user support contains articles and videos to help you with the tasks you need to complete.
When you are logged into the system, you will find "user support" in the top right-hand corner of the master menu.
The supplier has created a fact sheet for subcontractors.
